Certified Medical Assistant
A person who, under the direction of a physician, performs various routine administrative and nontechnical clinical tasks in a hospital, clinic, or similar facility.
Duties may include (but not limited to):
Light bookkeeping, making appointments, answering phones, and keeping patient files updated;
Taking blood pressure, drawing blood for tests, giving injections and taking X-rays
These services are performed on various federal facilities throughout the United States and it's territories.
